Für unseren Vogelbeer-Brand  haben wir vollreife Beeren entstrunkt, mit Hefe angesetzt und daraufhin  schonend über 4 Wochen vergoren. Im Anschluss daran wurde die Maische langsam und schonend gebrannt.

Die Vogelbeere (Eberesche) ist eine sehr spezielle Frucht. Die Ausbeute nach dem Brennen ist sehr gering, dadurch ist das Verfahren sehr zeitaufwendig bei sehr niedrigem Ertrag.
Wir bekommen von

1 to. Früchte in etwa 10 Liter Ertrag.

Für die Vogelbeere gibt es absolute Freaks und Liebhaber, denn diese Frucht ist auch in der Nase und im Abgang sehr speziell. In der Nase zeigt sich unser Vogelbeer sehr schön mit dem sehr intensiven Geruch von Marzipan, Marzipan pur, wie es sein soll.

Am Gaumen kommt dann ein sehr langer Abgang der sehr nachhaltig ist und an Erdtöne, Mandeln sowie nussige und grasige Töne erinnert. Für Vogelbeer-Brand Liebhaber ein „Must Have.“

For our rowanberry brandy we have cleaned fully ripe berries, prepared with yeast and then gently fermented for 4 weeks.

Following this, the mash was burned slowly and gently.

Rowan is a very special fruit. The yield after firing is very low, thus the process is very time consuming with very low yield. We only get 10 liters yield from 1 ton of fruits.

For the rowanberry there are absolute freaks and lovers, because this fruit is also very special in the nose and the finish. In the nose, our rowan shows very nicely with the very intense smell of marzipan, pure marzipan, as it should be.

The palate is then a very long finish that is very sustainable and reminds of earthy tones, almonds and nutty and grassy tones. A "must have" for Rowan-Brand lovers.
